President's Message:

Happy New Year...

Although 2009 was a tough year for many businesses, our members are weathering the storm. While other business districts throughout the city are experiencing a steady decline in activity, we are still moving in a positive direction. Here in Hamilton, we are fortunate to have several very strong core businesses which demonstrate stability and help to attract other businesses to our area.

Over the past year, we have welcomed many new businesses to the corridor. Lost in the 50s Diner, Hamilton Physical Therapy, MCPA Dance Studio, Heart of Hamilton, Cricket, Studio 55, and Jude E. Ezeala, Attorney, all opened.  Also, Los Amigos remodeled and Clementine expanded in the past year. The Hamilton-Lauraville area also received nine Best of Baltimore awards from the City Paper. All of this positive activity occurred during one of the toughest economic times of our lives.

Now, I am asking you to get involved in your association, think positive, and continue to make Hamilton the Charm of Charm City.

Your Partner in Business,

Richard Marsiglia, President
